SR. CATHY GORMAN, FOUNDER, HCC
Sr. Cathy Gorman died on January 5, 2010 after suffering a massive heart attack. She was a champion for education, and an incredible advocate for the immigrant, working poor community in Central Florida. For anyone wishing to honor her legacy through a donation, the money will go towards the Hope CommUnity Center Scholarship Fund. Sister Gail Legacy Fund
Sister Gail retired from Hope CommUnity Center in 2015 after committing 43 years of leadership and service to the community. The Gail Grimes Legacy Fund is created with the following purpose and focus:
To support the core vision of empowerment and justice-making at Hope CommUnity Center through the programs of:
Youth and Adult Leadership Development
Community Building and Civic Engagement
Citizenship and Immigration Advocacy
