Hope CommUnity Center is deeply saddened by the ongoing presence of white supremacy and racism in the hearts and minds of many people in the United States. There are more white supremacist groups in the US today than have existed since the time of the Civil Rights Movement. People from these white supremacist groups, including the KKK and neo-Nazi groups, have once more brought their anger and hatred of others to the forefront, this time at a rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
As a community of faith, Hope CommUnity Center avows without equivocation our belief in the equality of all people and our willingness to do what we can to eliminate racism, white supremacy, and bigotry in all its forms.
