A Big Turnout for HCC’s Immigration Fair

This past weekend, Hope CommUnity Center hosted its Immigration Fair to address recent concerns from the community about new immigration policies and to give support, guidance, and resources. Lawyers were present to answer questions from the community about immigrant rights, creating a dignity plan, deportation, the benefits of having DACA, and citizenship.
Because there is only so much an organization can do to protect and serve its community, HCC is determined to provide education to better equip people to protect themselves, be more knowledgable about issues that directly affect them, and to simply be empowered. It was an honor and privilege to work with the more than 130 people who attended this weekend and we look forward to similar events in the future.
Thank you also to HCC’s College and Career Access team, Self-Help Credit Union, and Valencia College for coming out Saturday to provide resources.
We use the Paypal service to securely process these donations, but you do NOT need a Paypal account to donate.
