We are proud to announce that HCC Sisters Ann Kendrick and Gail Grimes were honored for the Legacy Award at the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center 32nd Annual Summit Awards! Second Harvest Food Bank hosted the event.
The mission of the Central Florida Women’s Resource Center is to support the community by recognizing the power of women; celebrate women’s achievements; connect with and encourage other women’s organizations; and identify, impact, and support women’s social, education, health, political, economic, spiritual, and artistic issues.
Last night at the awards ceremony, Sisters Ann and Gail were joined by friends, staff, family, and youth who all have been touched and impacted in some way by their legacy. We enjoyed a fun and inspiring night of food and networking. We were privileged to learn about the amazing work of women who devote their lives to making Central Florida a better place.
Past winners include HCC Board Member Mary Carroll (2010) and Sister Teresa McElwee (1988).
