HCC’s New Director of Donor Relations

Meet Gina! Gina Castaño is not only HCC’s new Director of Donor Relations and an experienced fundraiser, she also loves children and teaching Zumba! During the first week of Kids Camp Gina spent an entire hour dancing with kids and instructing them on Zumba! What a blast!

 Gina was born in Cali, Colombia but immigrated to the United States with her parents and younger sister when she was eight due to the civil and political turmoil the country was facing. Upon arriving to Florida and realizing the abundance of opportunities available to her and to her family, she made the decision to embark on a personal and professional journey to serve others. Since then, she has been actively involved with many organizations whose mission is to empower and help those most affected by social injustice. Her experiences within the Central Florida community led her to the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation where she was Development Assistant for two seasons, and now to Hope CommUnity Center.
