$40,000 Granted by Disney to Hope CommUnity Center

Disney presents a check and a “Disney Mousecar” award to the Hope CommUnity Center board and staff.

Last week, Hope CommUnity Center received $40,000 from Walt Disney World Resort through Disney Grants. Hope will use the funding to expand services to youth at our second campus.

We are so glad to be part of the Disney family and receive their love and support through grants like these and “VoluntEARS” days.

Our grant was part of more than $5.6 million in Disney Grants awarded in support of efforts to positively impact the lives of over 300,000 local children and their families. The grants support Central Floridians through a variety of services such as afterschool programs for students, bonding activities for new parents and anti-bullying awareness skills.
